Harper is growing so fast! We are enjoying every minute of her! She went for her 6 month check up and she is doing great! She weighed 18 lb 10oz (90%) and was 28 1/2 in long (>97%). We have started stage 2 foods. At first she didn't know what to think, but she is getting better. We still are not eating fruits, I sneak apples in her oatmeal just so she can get a fruit. She just is not interested in them! She is starting to sit up by herself. It is only for a brief time, then she realizes that she is sitting and falls over. I had a friend to take her pictures on Alabama's Campus and this is one that he sent me. (Thanks Paul!)Thursday, October 28, 2010

5 Months Old
On September 13th, Harper turned 5 months old. A few of her highlights:
She LOVES her feet! She is constantly playing with them and trying to put them in her mouth! She is doing really well with stage 1 foods. Her favorite is green beans! She also likes sweet potatoes and squash. She does not care for carrots or peas. We just started eating fruits and she is not so sure about them. She loves oatmeal and prefers apples in it. We have started teething, so everything is going directly in our mouth. She chews on everything! On September 5th, she learned to roll over! She is constantly rolling over and getting mad because she has not figured out how to get her arms from underneath her!
Harper's First Football Game
On September 3, Harper went to her first Oak Grove High School Football game. We played Midfield High School. She did very good but got sleepy toward the end of the game. We left shortly after congratulating Daddy on their win over Midfield!

Starting Baby Food
We got the go ahead to start baby food. We started off with Green beans and then after four days we went to peas. She still does not like rice cereal by itself. But she is getting it in her bottle for her acid reflux. Here are the pictures of her first attempt of Stage One foods:
Getting Ready!
Not sure what to think?
By the end of the feeding, she seemed to like it!
4 Months Old
We had our four month check up on Monday. She is meeting all of her developmental milestones and is doing great. She weighed 15 lbs. (90th %) and was 25 1/2 inches long (90th %)! She is growing so fast! She is still sleeping throughout the night, which Mommy loves! We got the go ahead to start stage one foods so we will see how that goes! I have started back to work and Harper is staying with a babysitter in her home. She seems to be adjusting very well! It was hard dropping her off the first morning, but I know it is for the best!
